Author Book Fair this Saturday, October 5!

Come and meet local authors like me at the 2nd Annual Northwest Arkansas Author Book Fair @ the Springdale Public Library in Springdale, AR! This wonderful event will happen this Saturday, October 5, from 2:00-4:00pm. Don't forget to bring a few bucks to get SIGNED copies of great books!

Welcome to my blog! Here's a little about me: I was born and raised in Brazil, and in 1995, I came to the US on a tennis scholarship. I have a Ph.D. in Kinesiolgy, and I'm a former Special Education teacher, wife, and mother of two sons and three rescued pets. A few years ago, I "retired" from my teaching job to devote more time to my family and to fulfill a childhood dream of writing and illustrating children's books. I became a children's book writer & illustrator, blogger, and a stay-at-home mom! To improve my health, I started doing Insanity and P90X, then I found CrossFit! I absolutely fell in love with it, and today I'm a CrossFit coach, obstacle course racer, rock climber, and aspiring marathon runner!
